Adhyayan Suman gained commercial success with his second movie 'Raaz – The Mystery Continues'. His father has openly shared that the actor faced a difficult period marked by depression. Most recently, Adhyayan appeared in 'Heeramandi', a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Waiting for New Projects
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Adhyayan revealed that following his work in Bobby Deol’s 'Aashram' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Heeramandi', he is currently waiting for his next project. He shared, “After Heeramandi, I took a back step, and it was actually kind of after Aashram I signed a couple of films. But after Heeramandi, I didn’t know which was the most shocking sort of phase to be in. And I didn’t get the kind of roles I expected.”
Impactful Role but Limited Opportunities
He expressed that although his role as Zoravar in the show was relatively small, it was very impactful and received significant attention. He had hoped that this would open doors to better films and roles, but that did not happen. For six months, he felt frustrated, thinking that despite working with one of the biggest filmmakers in the country, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who even spoke highly of him, he still did not receive the work he expected. He questioned whether he should blame himself or the people in the industry for this situation.
