
Asda has issued an urgent product recall for a chicken slices product with the use-by date code of May 30. The popular supermarket chain has taken swift action after discovering its Sliced Hot & Spicy Chicken Breast Slices product was packed with the wrong use-by date.
Customers who have bought the item in question are being urged to return them to their nearest Asda store. Asda said in a statement: "If you have purchased Asda Hot and Spicy Chicken Breast Slices with a sell by date of May 30, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused."
