Flights are currently being diverted at Majorca Airport after a mystery drone was spotted. Passengers have been left staring at a departures board with delays as flights couldn't take off or land for a period from around 6pm UK time. Several planes were being forced to divert to other airports.
FlightRadar24 reported: "Operations at Palma de Mallorca Airport are currently suspended because of a drone in the airspace.
"Last landing was at 18:58 local time (5.58pm UK time).
"Several flights are diverting to other airports."

A flight arriving from Gatwick is listed as delayed - suggesting it could have been turned away from landing. Planes were able to touch down again safely at around 6:30pm UK time, it was reported.
