PS Plus Extra, Premium May 2025 games reveal date, time and predictions

subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the Extra and Premium games for May 2025.

The next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be unveiled at 4.30pm BST on the afternoon of May 14. The games will be available to download and install on May 20.

The new line-up will consist of a selection of and games, as well as a handful of retro PSOne titles for Premium subscribers. has previously added PSVR 2 games to PS Plus Premium, so fingers crossed.

With Borderlands 4 launching in September, fans speculate that publisher 2K may add a Borderlands game to the line-up. There are picks for Borderlands 3, as well as New Tales from the Borderlands and Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced.

Another game with multiple picks is EA FC 25, which makes sense given the Premier League season coming to an end in May. NBA 2K25 also has multiple predictions, alongside NHL 25.

Elsewhere, fans continue to predict Atomic Heart will join PS Plus Extra, alongside Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Until Dawn Remastered and Cuphead.

With the TV series in full swing, The Last of Us Part 2 has a few picks, as well as fellow first-party games such as LEGO Horizon, Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7.

Needless to say, multiple games will also be leaving the service on May 20.

This includes Grand Theft Auto 5, MotopGP 24, The Sims 4 Island Living, Stranded Alien Dawn, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, The Lego Movie 2 Videogame and Ghostrunner.

That's on top of Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, Portal Knights, Enter the Gungeon, Batman Arkham Knight, Infamous Second Son, Resistance Fall of Man and Resistance 2.

Unfortunately, despite Revenge of the Savage Planet launching in May, Sony is removing predecessor Journey to the Savage Planet from PS Plus Extra.

Various PSVR 2 games are also leaving the service this month, including Walkabout Mini Golf, Synth Riders Remastered Edition, Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghost Lord, Before Your Eyes, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners and The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Chapter 2 Retribution.
