Multiple people were taken to hospital on Monday afternoon after a bus crashed into a block of flats. Photos shared on social media show the H25 bus, which operates between Hatton and Crane Park, crashed into the side of an apartment block on Station Approach in Feltham.
A few people were taken to hospital as a precaution, while others were checked over at the scene by the London Ambulance Service. Feltham Labour MP Seema Malhotra has said that she is "shocked and saddened" to hear about the H25 bus crash in Feltham, which took place yesterday afternoon. She posted to X: "Have been in touch with the Council who are supporting TfL and others affected by the incident. Thank you to the emergency services for their response.
"Our thoughts are very much with those injured and their families at this time. Will update when we know more. In the meantime if my office can help in any way please contact me on malhotras@parliament.uk."
The London Fire Brigade confirmed that a few people were taken to hospital for further care, while several others received treatment at the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: "We were called at 1559 hrs yesterday (10 November) to a report of a road traffic collision involving a bus on Station Approach in Feltham. The bus had collided with a building and street furniture.
"The incident caused minor damage to a balcony. No one was trapped but several people were assessed at the scene by London Ambulance Service, with a small number of patients taken to hospital as a precaution.
"Firefighters assisted emergency service colleagues in making the scene safe. Two fire engines from Feltham Fire Station and a fire rescue unit from Heston Fire Station attended the scene."
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.46pm yesterday (10 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in New Road, Feltham.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and our Hazardous Area Response Team. We treated eight patients at the scene, including two children. We took one of the adults to hospital for further treatment and the rest were discharged at the scene."
