Amanda Holden has said that Alan Carr will be "terrible" on Celebrity Traitors.
Claudia Winkleman makes her comeback to the legendary Traitors castle in Inverness next Wednesday (October 8), bringing with her a stellar line-up who are prepared to engage in the ultimate contest of duplicity and treachery.
Alongside Alan, the inaugural celebrity edition will showcase Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, rugby legend Joe Marler, broadcaster Clare Balding, renowned actor and comic Stephen Fry, and EastEnders favourite Tameka Empson.
Whilst filming for the fresh series was taking place in April, Amanda Holden offered her perspective on her friend Alan's participation in the smash-hit reality programme.
"He's in the castle in Inverness as we speak!" she exclusively disclosed on the set of her new BBC gameshow The Inner Circle, reports the Mirror.
"I think he'd be a terrible traitor and I think if they had any sense, that's exactly what they'd make him be. It would be hilarious because he is rubbish at trying to keep secrets.
"He told me last year he was doing Traitors. It was like the biggest secret, I was like, 'Shush, Alan!'"
Amanda's fresh quiz programme bears similarities to The Traitors itself, featuring backstabbing and deception as its foundation.
BBC audiences will enjoy two variations of the quiz, with the Britain's Got Talent judge serving as presenter.
The daytime programme will witness six participants battling to outmanoeuvre and outsmart their fellow competitors, whilst Saturday evenings will feature celebrities joining forces with ordinary members of the public.
Throughout the competition, each participant receives a randomly allocated secret cash sum, ranging from nothing to £4,000 during daytime episodes and £5,000 for Saturday night editions.
Every player knows only their own worth with no requirement to be truthful as they enter a psychological warfare of intelligence, courage and tactical manoeuvring through numerous demanding rounds.
Discussing The Inner Circle's thrilling format, Amanda remarked: "It has elements of other shows that you might recognise; The Weakest Link, Traitors and Golden Balls with Jasper Carrot - all in one!

"It's all about general knowledge and human nature... It's complex but it's fun!"
Amanda added: "It's going to be glamorous and nail-biting with a real jeopardy at the end that I don't think anybody is going to be expecting while they're dunking their biscuits in a cuppa!
"The Saturday night takes the show up another level, just before Strictly. I'm their warm-up, which is just a brilliant place to be!"
The Inner Circle premieres on BBC One at 5.35pm on Saturday 4th October, while Celebrity Traitors premieres on BBC One at 9pm on Wednesday 8th October
