Sharmila Bai and other women of the village who came with the complaint said that due to these acts of men, dozens of women have left their husbands and gone to their maternal homes. They too have reached a situation of leaving their husbands and the village. The atmosphere of the entire village has become bad due to alcohol. There are fights every day.
He said that there are more than 150 houses in this village of Nepanagar tehsil with a population of about five hundred and fifty. Some people of Korku community are involved in this illegal business. Women have also given an application to the Excise Officer demanding a ban on illegal business.
Instead of correcting the increased electricity bills, the officials are giving strange advice
On Tuesday, half a dozen councillors and consumers of the city have complained about the increased electricity bills in the public hearing. Chandrakala Ward councillor Arif Khan and others said that even after the consumption of less than 100 units, the officials of the distribution company are sending bills ranging from 800 to 1700 rupees to the people.
Whereas as per the government's plan, they cannot be charged a bill of more than Rs 100. On complaining about this, the department officials are giving strange advice. They say that the consumer should consume up to five units daily. The councillors said that now will we have to appoint a person to monitor this?
Officers who have been posted for 10 years should be transferred
Bajrang Sena district president Anil Mahajan and other officials have filed a complaint demanding the transfer of officers who have been posted for ten years. He said that officers have been posted in many departments including Food Safety, Tehsil offices, Food Department, Municipal Council Shahpur for a long time. Accusing Food Safety Officer Kamlesh Dabar of collusion, he said that fake mawa and milk are coming from the neighboring state Maharashtra. When we call him, he does not even pick up the phone. This shows that he is involved in this illegal business.
Damage to crops due to canal breach
Sheikh Musa, a resident of Nandura Khurd of Khaknar tehsil, has filed a complaint saying that Kailash Babu of the village is diverting the water to his field by breaking the canal passing near his field. Due to which his crops are getting damaged. This year, maize crop worth about Rs. 1.5 lakh has been damaged. He has demanded an inquiry into the complaint and compensation for the loss.
