Ambikapur: A strange incident has emerged from Ambikapur Central Jail in Chhattisgarh. A prisoner serving a sentence for murder inserted a pencil into his private parts (urinary tract) due to itching. His condition subsequently deteriorated, leading to bleeding and swelling. As his condition worsened, he was admitted to Ambikapur Medical College Hospital, where the pencil was removed after a three- to four-hour operation.
How did the accident happen?
According to reports, on September 22nd, the prisoner was experiencing itching in his private parts. During this time, he inserted a pencil kept in the prison into his urinary tract. Shortly thereafter, the pain and swelling increased. The prisoner writhed in pain throughout the night, but his condition did not return. The next day, on September 23rd, when his condition worsened, the prison administration sent him to a medical college.
Pencil removed through operation
During X-ray in the hospital, it was found that a wooden object was stuck in the prisoner's urinary tract. Doctor Praveen Kumar Singh of the surgery department said that due to the pencil being stuck, the prisoner was unable to urinate, due to which his condition worsened. The team of doctors removed the approximately 9 cm long pencil after a 3-4 hour operation. This operation was carried out by the team of Doctor SP Kujur, Dr. Praveen Singh, Dr. Kanta and Dr. Indranil. Currently, the prisoner's condition is stable and he has been kept under observation.
