Princess Andre has admitted her mum Katie's 'Mucky Mansion' was a "really scary" place to live in a heartbreaking revelation. The reality star, 18, grew up in the sprawling pile in Sussex after Katie, 47, and the teen's dad, Peter Andre, 52, divorced.
The Princess Diaries star speaks candidly about growing up in the spotlight in her new show as well as the troubling impact Katie's rocky relationships had on her.
Princess previously admitted that the star's marriage to Kieran Hayler was particularly traumatic and has now opened about the house they lived in. It comes as Katie reached out to her daughter after she claimed she was banned from appearing in the teen's new show.

Speaking toThe Guardianabout living in the Mucky Mansion, which featured in Katie's reality DIY show on Channel 4, Princess admitted: "It was a really scary house. A lot went on there. So I didn't really like it."
Katie left the house last year after being declared bankrupt for the second time and admitted that she also "hated" living there.
Reflecting on living in the dilapidated dwelling with her mum and siblings, Princess continued: "I guess when you have bad experiences somewhere you don't like the place."
Princess alluded to her unhappy childhood in The Princess Diaries, when she admitted she saw things 'no kids should have' while growing up.
The teenager opens up about "dark times" in her own TV show, which laid bare Katie's problems. In the ITV series, Princess addresses traumatic memories of her glamour model mum Katie's divorce from Pete as well as Katie's other very public relationships.
In a candid confession, Princess said: "I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then. "But I don't feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age."
Princess also said she wishes she "wasn't like that" and that she had things lingering at the back of her mind while being very young.
However, she now appears to be in a good place with her mum, who is moving into a new mansion after recently being forced to leave her rented home because the owner wanted to sell.
Discussing the difference of her parents' respective homes, Princess told the Guardian: "Dad's house is a lot quieter, a lot more peaceful, a lot more organised. Whereas my mum's house is much more just do what you want...
"I love being in the middle. I love the two different houses, because if I fancy a bit more chaotic and busy I'll go to Mum's and if I fancy more relaxed I'll go to Dad's."
