Lorraine Kelly was left in shock at the end of her Wednesday morning episode, the shows entertainment correspondent Rishi Davda dropped a 'bombshell' piece of information.
When talking about celebrities who turned into political hopefuls, Rishi revealed that Rustie Lee had previously joined political party UKIP - leaving Lorraine in shock.
"Rustie Lee? From TV-am?" she exclaimed when Rishi mentioned her political move. "Really?!" she continued, when Rishi continued to tell her the star had previously joined UKIP.
"I didn't have that on my bingo card!" she said - but she wasn't the only one unaware of Rusti's move, as she switched over to This Morning's Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

"So much we don't know about Rusti Lee," Ben said. "She's an enigma, that's why we love her."
The TV personality, chef, singer and actress, who has shown off her culinary skills on this morning, is loved for her bubbly personality.
In 2005, she ran as a candidate for UKIP, but came fifth in her constituency in the elections.
In 2004, UKIP's Mike Nattrass said: "Rustie is an extremely jolly individual who will get on well with the electorate."
It is said that the star expressed her interest in UKIP's policies after she bumped into Jan Kilroy-Silk, the now ex-wife of Robert Kilroy-Silk.
She then got in contact with Mike Nattrass, former member of the European Parliament for the West Midlands, to ask how she could help the campaign.
"She said she was interested in what we were about and could she get involved," he told BBC News Online.
Rustie Lee also stood for UKIP in 2009’s European Elections for the West Midlands constituency, however, she was not elected.
The beloved TV chef has many talents, including acting and singing. She's even starred in BBC soap opera EastEnders, as Aunt Opal, and has also appeared in ITV's Benidorm.
Last month, TV chef Rustie appeared on Loose Women and spoke about her encounter with Princess Anne when they met at the Royal Night of 100 Stars in 1985.
After the show, Rustie, who says she was the only performer to sing with the orchestra, claimed the audience were shocked to realise she could sing as well as cook.
Rustie added: “And when I met Princess Anne afterwards, she said to me: ‘I didn’t realise you could sing.’
“And I thought, ‘Oh my goodness, I didn’t realise you knew me,’ which was rather lovely. I was fortunate enough to meet Anne again in Birmingham at the Alexandra Theatre years after that, and she remembered me.”
