'I've been using Holly Willoughby's go-to SPF skin tint and it gave me the best glowy skin'

Whilst filming Celebrity Bear Hunt in the tropical Costa Rican climates, ’s makeup artist revealed that she used the on the presenter’s skin. Thanks to its lightweight, glowy coverage and high SPF content, Holly’s skin was kept protected from the sun – thanks to its SPF50 – whilst also keeping her skin looking camera ready at all times.

Already won over by how flawless Holly’s skin looked throughout the show, and sick of finding my makeup usually pilled when applied on top of SPF, I decided to put the to the test. Whilst I was expecting a much thicker formula like most SPFs, its consistency is much closer to a liquid foundation which makes it easier to blend, but can mean you end up applying too much at once – less is definitely more with this! I preferred applying it with a brush, but you can use your fingers too.

The comes in 15 different shades, and although it’s touted as tinted, I found it actually also gave some good light to medium coverage when layered up. It helped cover up redness and blemishes without looking (or feeling) too heavy, and evened out my skin tone whilst still having a natural-looking finish.

As well as helping balance my complexion, the final result was one of my skin has ever had. Usually I’m not a huge fan of a dewy or luminous base – it tends to make me look oily, rather than glowy – but this was just the right amount to make my skin look fresh and healthy, without too much shine.

I will say the had an ever so slightly sticky feel after applying, but a quick blot of some translucent powder on key areas like my nose and under eyes did the trick. The tacky feeling also disappeared once it had settled into my skin.

Other products like blushers, bronzers and highlighters blended really nicely over the top, and I tried both powder and liquid formulas to make sure they’d both work on it – which they did. There was no separating or moving it once it was on.

The contains Pentivitin which hydrates your skin, making it a makeup bag must-have for summer. There’s also no silicones, oils or alcohols in the ingredients list, which makes it great on all skin types, including my sensitive and prone skin.

Obviously the biggest selling point is that it contains SPF50, and . It is, however, designed as a secondary sunscreen to be layered over your usual SPF, which makes topping it up throughout the day much easier.

If you’re looking for an ultra-lightweight regular SPF to use, I also love . It’s £38 and has the most lightweight non-pilling formula I’ve come across.

For a more budget-friendly pick, the is currently on sale for £16.80 down from £21 and has a similar lightweight invisible finish. If you want something you can wear on its own, the , £40, has been designed to be worn as your only SPF, and has a tinted sheer formula.
