Viewers can expect some pretty big moments on next week, and it could be a turning point for some key storylines.
There's worrying cancer news for one character, while another resident is in turmoil as they believe they've left lives in danger after an incident. As one character continues to frame another for a dark crime, his other sinister acts could finally come to light.
One family edge closer to their truth about their missing loved one, while one newcomer wakes from their coma after years. It seems it could all come crashing down for a villain, while two brothers bond after recent drama.
Let's kick things off with the fallout to last week's slurry spill at the farm, which leaves young Harry Sugden in danger. He remains in hospital with his worried mum Victoria in pieces.
She isn't the only one, as Mackenzie Boyd remains in turmoil believing he is to blame and he's ostracised by several villagers, including his sister and farm owner Moira Dingle. But he has no idea he has been set up by his enemy John Sugden, who has orchestrated his downfall - only for things to backfire.

With Harry in a bad way, Moira facing financial ruin and Mack refusing to be Aaron Dingle's best man at his wedding to John, John is feeling the strain of his actions. He sets about trying to fix things, but he could have bigger issues to worry about as his other two dark secrets threaten to be exposed.
We see a moment where Mack breaks down in John's arms, with both men feeling guilty about what's happened. Elsewhere, the decision has been made to dredge the lake due to contamination after the leak.
Of course viewers, and John, know that this is where murdered Nate Robinson's body is. He makes a return of sorts next week, as we once again see his corpse under the water.
With the lake needing dredging is this the moment we finally see Nate's death exposed? This isn't the only issue regarding Nate, as his aunt Belle Dingle decides to look into his vanishing act.
Everyone thinks that Nate cut off his family after a misunderstanding, after he seemingly moved to Shetland in September. None of them know he was actually killed by John and dumped in the water.
Belle is suspicious next week about Nate’s out of character disappearance and she plans to head to to find him, only to find out he never arrived at his job in the Shetlands. Cain Dingle struggles to digest the information about his missing son, but as Belle goes to call the police to report him as missing, John finds out what's happening and does his best to prevent her from doing so.
Belle reluctantly agrees not to get the police involved and puts her missing nephew to the back of her mind. Elsewhere, John's ex Aidan wakes from his coma next week, sparking more fears for the villain that his secrets could be exposed.
It seems there's more for us to find out about what led to Aidan being left in a coma a few years earlier. John bumps into Aidan's mother Cathleen at the hospital who wrongly assumes he's been notified that there's been news about Aidan and begs him to accompany her to see him on his ward.
Suddenly as John's name is mentioned Aidan's eyes spring open, and not long after he wakes from his coma. John is desperate to try and assess the threat level, but will Aidan be able to reveal what went on? It seems he's non-verbal, but might he be able to expose John?
Also next week there's cancer fears for Sarah Sugden as she pushes forward with her plans to have a child through IVF. As she undergoes an examination at the fertility clinic, the doctor advises that she has found some inflammation while examining her cervix.
Sarah fears the worst but doesn't tell anyone, unable to open up to her loved ones. Later on, Sarah slips away to her hospital appointment alone where she’s forced to face her potential cancer diagnosis, but what will her biopsy results reveal?
Finally next week, Ross Barton's secret brother Lewis Barton returns to the village and tries to get the family secrets out of him. Lewis wants to meet Moira Dingle, unaware that Moira killed his mother .
Meanwhile, Ross realises his brother is growing weed and decides to get involved. Soon Mack is dragged into things and the men team up, seeing it as a solution to paying off the fines against the farm after the leak incident.
