A pensioner who vanished on the Costa del Sol before his flight back to Manchester has been found, according to an emotional update from his daughter.
Former property tycoon Clifford Wildgoose had been holidaying with a solicitor mate in southern Spain and was due to fly back to Manchester on Sunday (September 21), but alarm bells rang when he went missing.
Clifford, originally from Ashton-under-Lyne in Tameside, was last spotted at around 2am on Saturday morning at Patrick's 19th Hole Bar, in the posh resort of Puerto Banus, near Marbella.

He'd only popped over to Spain for the weekend, but didn't turn up at Malaga Airport for his return flight. His daughter, Melanie Hall, said she was 'beside herself with worry', reports the Manchester Evening News.
She previously mentioned that Clifford's mates hadn't heard from him and that he didn't make it to the gate in time for his flight.
In a recent update, Melanie posted a heartfelt public message on Facebook stating that Clifford had been found in the Puerto Banus area following a public appeal.
Expressing her gratitude to the public for spreading the news, she wrote on Sunday evening: "Just to let everyone know literally five min ago received a call from a kind gentlemen in Puerto Banus who was walking past and recognised my dad from the social media posts, he is now safe and with the police but will need some hospital treatment.
"Thank you to everyone social media worked its magic I can't thank you all enough."
