NIA Arrest Two ISIS Terrorist: India has arrested two most wanted fugitive terrorists Abdullah Faiz Sheikh and Talha Khan at Mumbai airport. These suspected terrorists were hiding in Jakarta.
India has got another big success against terrorism. Two most wanted terrorists of India have been arrested. NIA i.e. Central Investigation Agency has arrested two fugitive terrorists from Mumbai airport. Both the terrorists have been identified as Abdullah Faiz Sheikh alias Diaperwala and Talha Khan. Both these terrorists were hiding in Jakarta, Indonesia. On returning to India, the Immigration Department stopped both of them at Mumbai airport. After this, NIA arrested them.
Sources say that both Abdullal Faiz Sheikh and Talha Khan are accused in the 2023 Pune IED case. This includes charges against them like making and testing IEDs (bombs). Both of them are sleeper cells of terrorist organization ISIS in India. The NIA special court had issued non-bailable warrants against both of them. Not only this, a reward of Rs 3 lakh each was also announced for giving information about these two.
Connection with ISIS
NIA sources said that both these accused were associated with the Pune sleeper module of ISIS. In this, 8 other members have already been arrested. Their aim was to wage war against the government by spreading unrest and communal tension in India. This was part of ISIS's conspiracy to establish Islamic rule in India.
What did Abdullah and Talha do
Abdullah Faiz Sheikh had rented a house in Kondhwa area of Pune. IEDs were made in this house. During the year 2022-23, he organized a bomb-making training workshop. Along with this, both of them also tested the IED by conducting a controlled explosion. In this case, a chargesheet has been filed under sections of UAPA, Explosive Substances Act, Arms Act and IPC. The investigation of the case is still going on so that the terrorist activities of ISIS in India can be completely exposed.
