Pradosh Vrat 2025: According to the Hindu calendar, Pradosh fast is observed on the Trayodashi date of every month, but the Trayodashi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month is considered to be especially virtuous. Worshipping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati during the Pradosh period on this day gives special results. According to the Vedic calendar, the Trayodashi date of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month will start on May 9 at 2:56 pm and the date will end on the next day i.e., May 10 at 5:29 pm. Thus, Shukra Pradosh Vrat will be observed on May 9

Importance of Shiva Puja on Pradosh
This fast is considered to be very effective for the attainment of Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. On this day, fasting, fasting, Rudrabhishek, and offering various things on Shivling destroy all the defects and bring happiness, peace and prosperity in life.
