Indresh Upadhyay on Pahalgam Terror Attack: On Tuesday, such a horrific face of terror was seen from Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, which no one had even imagined. 26 tourists who had gone to visit the valleys of Kashmir were killed one by one by the terrorists. It is being told that after selectively firing bullets on the tourists, these terrorists have gone and hidden in the nearby hilly forest. These terrorists selectively targeted only male tourists and asked them whether they were Hindu or Muslim. Anger is visible in the whole country on this incident of Pahalgam. Famous storyteller Indresh Upadhyay has raised big questions about this incident.

Vrindavan's famous storyteller and singer Indresh Upadhyay expressed his displeasure over this incident and gave his message through social media. He wrote, 'The terrorist attack in Pahalgam Kashmir is condemnable... It is painful to say or react on these issues. But has being a Hindu become a crime in India? Hey, they were asked about their religion… but the appearance of many will tell that they are Hindus… what will we do then?’
Indresh Maharaj further writes, ‘I pray to the government to take such a decision in this matter as soon as possible so that we can proudly and fearlessly say, ‘We are Hindus…’ and the thought of doing this again does not come in the mind of any rioter… I pray to Shri Ji and Lal Ji for the deceased.’

He asked, ‘Has being a Hindu become a crime in India?’
The daughter of a Pune businessman killed in this terrorist attack claimed that the terrorists shot the male tourists after asking them about their religion. 26-year-old Asawari said, 'There were many tourists present there, but the terrorists especially targeted male tourists and asked them whether they were Hindus or Muslims...' The people who fired were dressed like the local police. This was the reason that on hearing the sound of firing, many tourists thought that there might be an encounter between terrorists and security personnel.
