On Monday evening, digital creator and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, more widely recognized by his online persona BeerBiceps, posted a heartfelt update on Instagram. The carousel of images he uploaded offered a nostalgic peek into his early years, tracing his evolution from a regular youngster to a prominent voice in India’s podcasting scene.

What truly grabbed followers' interest, however, was the thought-provoking caption accompanying the pictures. In a deeply personal message directed at his younger self, Ranveer offered a piece of empowering advice. “Note to this guy: Life is a storm. Enjoy the ups. Learn from the downs. Take care of people who stand alongside you. Grow after every setback. Live every chapter like the lion you are.... Never. Back. Down. Ran-Veer: Brave on the battlefield," he wrote, ending the note with his signature intensity.

This post followed closely on the heels of his re-entry into the podcasting world, after facing severe criticism surrounding his appearance on the show India’s Got Latent.

On April 12, reports emerged stating that Ranveer Allahbadia is facing allegations of non-compliance from the Maharashtra Cyber Cell, in connection with the ongoing probe into the backlash over his controversial remarks on the show India’s Got Latent. As per sources, the digital influencer was served an official summons by the Cyber Cell but has allegedly failed to respond, prompting authorities to weigh potential legal measures for what they interpret as an unwillingness to cooperate with the investigation.

An IndiaTV report also revealed that the Cyber Cell had extended similar summons to other individuals associated with the show, including Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija, alongside Allahbadia.

Earlier in the year, Ranveer sparked outrage after asking a contestant a highly inappropriate and disturbing question: “Would you prefer to watch your parents engage in intercourse every day forever, or participate once to make it stop?” Although fellow hosts Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani laughed at the moment, social media platforms erupted in anger. The backlash led to multiple legal complaints being filed against both Ranveer and the show’s production team.

The situation intensified when the National Commission for Women (NCW) intervened, taking serious issue with the content. As a result, Ranveer was compelled to issue a formal written apology. The matter even reached the Supreme Court, which granted temporary protection from arrest, but strongly criticized the podcaster. The court labeled his comment as “crude” and remarked that it reflected “a perverse mindset,” bringing shame upon the community at large.

Recently returning to the public eye, Ranveer released a video message titled Dear India, in which he directly addressed the controversy. With sincerity, he asked for forgiveness and requested viewers to allow him the opportunity to grow from the incident. “We promise to elevate the quality of our podcast. As usual, you can expect four episodes each week, focusing on India’s cultural richness, historical legacy, and self-development themes,” he assured fans.
