West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the schedule of Secondary Examination 2026. West Bengal Board 10th examinations will start from February 2 and will run till February 12, 2026. Students appearing in the exam can check the time table by visiting the official website of the board, . West Bengal Secondary Board Examination will be conducted in a single shift.
The upcoming secondary examination will start with the first language paper on February 2. After that there will be a second language exam on February 3. The exam will end with the examination of optional subjects on February 12. The examination will be conducted in a single shift every day from 10:45 am to 2 pm. Candidates will be given additional time of 15 minutes to read the question paper. The exam will be conducted under the guidelines issued by the board.

The first language paper includes Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Modern Tibetan, Nepali, Odia, Gurumukhi (Punjabi), Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Santhali. The second language paper includes English. The examination for the theory part in music singing and musical instrument will be of two hours and fifteen minutes duration. The schedule of practical examinations for these subjects will be announced later.
The theory examination of computer application will be for two hours and 45 minutes. At the same time, practical examination will be conducted by different schools. This year the high school examination was conducted from February 10 to 22 and the results were released on May 2. A total of 86.56 percent students were successful in the secondary examination.
