BHU UG Admission 2025: Banaras Hindu University has declared the seat allotment result for the third round of counselling for undergraduate admission. Candidates can check the seat allotment result by visiting the official website. The seat allotment is live on the Samarth portal for the candidates.
What to do next?
Students allotted seats can complete the fee payment through the online link on their dashboard by August 21. After fee payment, candidates will have the option to choose the 'freeze' or 'upgrade' option. If not satisfied with the current allotment, one has to choose to upgrade their seat to a higher preference through the next stages of counselling. If one wants to accept the current seat, one can 'freeze' it and confirm the admission.
If a candidate's seat has been upgraded to a higher fee program from the previous round, he/she has to deposit the remaining fee within the stipulated time. Delay in fee payment will result in cancellation of admission. Such candidates will not be considered eligible for the next round of counselling. If the fee of the upgraded program is less than the previously allotted course fee, the remaining amount will be adjusted.
BHU UG Seat Upgradation
If a candidate applying for seat upgradation is not allotted an upgraded seat in this round, their previous seat will remain intact. The student will have to accept admission to the allotted seat.
Students with valid marks of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2025) can get admission to various UG courses of BHU through the counselling process of the university. Four regular rounds of seat allotment will be conducted, after which a spot round will be conducted for the remaining vacancies.
