Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta may have just suffered a setback to his hopes of sealing a first summer exit. The Gunners have been very busy over the last few months but all of the focus has been on new signings with six welcomed which has seen over £200million spent.
Viktor Gyokeres, as the most expensive, is undoubtedly the marquee arrivals with Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi also key incomings.Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cristhian Mosquera and Christian Norgaard meanwhile, have joined as depth options.
A lack of spending last summer put Arsenal in a strong financial position to complete this spending spree without the need to sanction sales. Six fresh faces arriving does however mean that getting bodies out the door, either permanently or on a temporary basis, is a priority.

Reiss Nelson looks to be a player that fits the latter category with talks having already taken place for him to re-join Fulham. Their focus is seemingly on Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin with two proposals, the latest of which was a club-record bid, lodged to try and sign him.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior have emerged of interest to Porto while Aston Villa look to be considering a move for Leandro Trossard having sold Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle while Leon Bailey is in talks to join AS Roma.
Discussions have also taken place for Fabio Vieira, who spent last season on loan at former club Porto, involving Stuttgart. The Bundesliga club are keen to sign him on a permanent basis but that stance may have changed following their latest transfer decision.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Stuttgart have agreed to sign Tiago Tomas from Wolfsburg in a £12.9million (€15m) package deal.
It has also been claimed that the 23-year-old forward will signed a contract until 2029 with his medical taking place on Friday and likely therefore already completed.
His imminent arrival could have a major impact on talks for Vieira with Arsenal possibly facing another setback when trying to sanction exits. However, for the next 48 hours, the majority of focus will be on the pitch as the Gunners kick off their Premier League season away at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Arteta held his pre-match press conference on Friday and confirmed there were no lingering injury issues with his update on Leandro Trossard. "Yeah, I think he's much better," he said. "I think he will be able to train again tomorrow and if that's the case, he will be fit."
