Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has emerged as the favourite to take over Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.
The Portuguese has won just 34 points from a possible 99 in the top flight during his time in charge at the Red Devils. This has led to constant speculation surrounding his future, with reports linking Palace boss Glasner with the job.
Man Utd sources have said Amorim retains the backing of Old Trafford decision-makers and no replacement is being lined up, according to the Manchester Evening News. This has not stopped bookies from tipping the Man Utd boss for the sack, though, with the 40-year-old the 8/11 favourite with Betfair to be the next Premier League manager to leave.

Glasner is the 7/2 favourite to be named the next permanent Man Utd manager, while Gareth Southgate is 5/1. Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are priced at 15/2.
Enzo Maresca had been 22/1 to lose his job at Chelsea before the 3-1 defeat to Brighton at the weekend, but the Italian is now 14/1 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked. football.london understands, however, that Chelsea have no plans to sack Maresca, even if they were to lose the next two games against Benfica and Liverpool.
Some Blues supporters were calling for the Italian to be dismissed as the Blues’ poor run of recent form continued at the weekend with defeat to Brighton at Stamford Bridge. However, it was just Chelsea's fifth defeat in 24 competitive matches in all competitions - a run that stretches way back to April 17, and four of those losses have come when the Blues have been down to 10 men.
football.london understands the target this season for Chelsea remains the same as club chiefs aim for a top-four finish in the Premier League. Whether that’s in fourth, third, second or first-place, the Blues are targeting another Champions League finish and that target has been made clear to Maresca.
Sources close to the club believe Chelsea's rocky start to the campaign has been somewhat overblown and Maresca, who won two major honours during his debut season with the club, still has the full backing of senior figures at the club.
Unai Emery, Vitor Pereira and Ange Postecoglou are also in the running to lose their jobs, according to Betfair. Betfair spokesperson, James Mackie, said: “After Manchester United’s harrowing loss to Brentford on Saturday Ruben Amorim is now the 8/11 odds on favourite to be the third manager to leave the Premier League this season.
“The big mover this morning has been Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca who is now into 14/1 from 22/1 after another loss at the weekend to Brighton at Stamford Bridge.”
